The people of India have many physical and economic needs. As is unfortunately the case, children often suffer under these conditions. NMM has many children’s homes throughout India reaching children with the life and promises of God.
Our children’s homes are not referred to as orphanages because many times one or even both of their parents are still alive. And there is no adoption program in place. Most children in our homes simply come from families where their parents could no longer care for them and would be left to the streets to survive.
Children’s homes provide for all of their physical needs such as food, shelter and education. Above all we want to demonstrate to them and teach them the love of Jesus and the plans He has for their lives. We have followed their needs all the way through college in some cases. Today, some of the little girls that we took in many years ago are coming out of college with nursing and teaching degrees.
